How to Force Open File Backup for Certain File Types

Method 1: Using the Zoolz Desktop Application

1. Open the Zoolz desktop application.
2. Click on Settings.
3. Select the Advanced Settings option from the left-side menu.
4. In the input box of the VSS Extensions, type the extensions of the files you wish to back up while open in the *.EXTENTION format (e.g., *.docx;*.xlsx)
5. Click the Save button.

Method 2: Vis the Zoolz Web Console

1. Sign in to your Zoolz web console as an admin user.
2. Refer to the Policies page.
3. Create a new policy, or select to edit an existing one.
4. Under the Extensions tab, in the Add VSS extensions box, type the extensions of the files you wish to back up while open in the *.EXTENTION format. (e.g., *.docx;*.xlsx)
5. Click the Save button.
